First Birthday

Yesterday my baby turn ONE!!!! I still find it so surreal, where has the time gone. We spent the weekend celebrating with lots of time outside, having distance visits with family, eating CAKE, playing, and of course watching Star Wars.

A year ago today, we were driving home with Freyja. As new parents, we of course had absolutely no idea what to expect. We had all these dreams and ideas of how she would be. But, she has surpassed all of our ideals and filled us with so much joy. She has completely changed our lives and captured our hearts. I do not know what used to fill up my camera roll and time before she joined us. It has been such a wild ride watching this girl grow and develop into the little human she is today. Since I have spent the past 365 days with her, I sometimes forgot how much she has truly changed, until I look back at those newborn photos. This time last year, she was completely dependent on me. Now she is such a curious, smart, funny, and independent little human. I absolutely cherish every moment I get to spend with this little love.
